FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: switch mechanism contains main branch (1) with mechanical breaker (2) and auxiliary branch (3) with arc-quenching semi-conducting cell (4), at that auxiliary branch (3) is connected parallel to the main branch (1). Main branch (1) is connected serially with mechanical breaker (2) and contains serially connected auxiliary switching module (M2) with arc-quenching semi-conducting cell (5), which is actuated in case of opening and is connected parallel to impedance (Z1). Auxiliary branch (3) contains parallel connected auxiliary switching module (M4) with impedance (Z2), at that impedance (Z2) includes at least one element of condenser type (C).
EFFECT: increase of fast-action, simplification of device and reduction of electric arc negative effect.
