FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: suggested invention is attributed to electric engineering and is untended for using in secondary power sources of radio, automation and computing technology devices. The essence of invention consists in the fact that to provide "soft" switching on of power transistor the second reactance via additional output terminal of switching element is included into the second winding circuit of dual-winding reactance of up/down voltage converter, and to lower overvoltage in power transistor after "soft" switching off due to steplike current increase in the second reactance, additional circuit consisting of the fifth diode and the second condenser is introduced which circuit shunts the second reactance. The fourth diode is required to recharge the second condenser.
EFFECT: functionality enhancement of switching element due to expansion of its usage in up/down-converters with dual-winding reactance.
