FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is applicable in high-voltage discharge lamps and features high power factor, long-life performance and illumination of high quality. Electronic regulator for high-voltage discharge lamp consists of connected in series filter circuit, rectifying circuit, power factor switching circuit, control voltage inversion and power regulating circuit, starter protection circuit, output matching circuit and auxiliary power supply circuit. Due to using of common-mode interference, differential-mode interference filter in filter circuit, this circuit is in full accord with electromagnetic compatibility standard and is capable to lower interference noise in power supply load circuit which noise affect the regulator. In the present invention three integral circuits are used which fact increases integration level, reduces number of parts, simplifies circuits and decreases the cost; auxiliary power supply circuit which supplies power to integral circuits is actuated after supply current has passed through transformer and stabilitron tube. Due to this high stability and reliability is provided. Due to integrated circuit IC2 actuating field-controlled transistor Q3 control circuit features simplicity and low level of distortion. Described regulator is capable to work with current of constant value, constant voltage, constant power and to work with stability under conditions of short-circuit, open circuit and in abnormal conditions.

EFFECT: power factor increase, providing of long-life performance and illumination of high quality.
