SUBSTANCE: left ventricular myocardial mass (LVMM) is determined by echocardiography, thereafter, electropositive mass of left ventricular myocardial (e/p LVMM) is determined by vector cardiography, the result of which is processed in a computer with the help of program SPPS SIGMA PLOT 8.0. Ventricular depolarisation loop in the plane of maximum disclosure is received, its square is determined with the help of planimeter and left ventricular myocardial mass is determined according to formula: e/p LVMM=102.68+33 S, where S - square of ventricular depolarisation loop in cm2; 102.68 and 33 - coefficients of the linear regression. And electropositive left ventricular myocardial mass (e/p LVMM) equaled 135.7g corresponds to the value of S = 1 cm2, thereafter a border which is electronegative left ventricular myocardial mass (e/n LVMM) is determined and if the value of e/n LVMM is 54g, diffuse cardiosclerosis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method allows enhancing accuracy of diagnostics of diffuse cardiosclerosis, ensures possibility to diagnose in early stages.
