FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: operating method of glass-melting tank includes supply of charge to loading pocket, heat supply to melting tank heated area, glass melting, which consists of silicate formation stage, glass formation stage, stage of fining in condensation area, stage of glass mass homogenisation in the tank neck and stage of cooling in cooling section. Homogenisation and temperature decrease of glass mass is carried out by means of glass mass cooling in the neck with a submersible transverse partition, with cooling water flow of 480 l/min to 520 l/min and inlet temperature of 20°C to 40°C, as well as due to forced mixing of glass mass by submersible blades of cross mixers with rotation speed of 2 to 7 rpm, where water flow for cooling of one mixer is not more than 15 m3/hour at water pressure of 1.2 to 3.5 kg/cm2 and at water inlet temperature of 20° to 40°C. Invention provides glass mass homogeneity increase, which allows to improve the building glass quality.
EFFECT: enlarging the life time of glass-melting furnace; improving the quality of produced goods and increasing glass production.
