FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: raw materials are subjected to combined fine crushing and compacting. Melting of obtained charge is realised on inclined tray with successive passing by charge of all stages of melting as it moves along furnace length, with certain temperature conditions being supported at each stage of melting. First stage - formation of silicate, is carried out under conditions of gradient heating from 200-600 to 700-1400°C, with maximal rate of heating from 5 to 20°C a minute, second stage -glass formation, is carried out at temperature 800-1500°C, third stage - clarification and homogenisation, is carried out at temperature 800-1600°C, and fourth stage - cooling, is carried out at temperature 800-1500°C.
EFFECT: provision of high homogeneity of glass composition at microlevel.
