FIELD: physics; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: primary winding of the transformer is connected to the overhead electric transport power line alternating current of a single-tack section. The secondary winding of the transformer is connected through the normally closed control contact of the switch, connected with the overhead electric transport power line, with the voltage relay. The signal device of checking the presence of voltage in the overhead electric transport power line is connected through normally closed contact of the voltage relay. The overhead electric power line is located in a zone of electric influence of a line "two conductor - rail" with the voltage 27.5 kV. The signal device controls the induced voltage from the line "two conductor - rail" 27.5 kV.

EFFECT: an increase in the reliability of work of the device due to use of the induced voltage on the overhead electric power line.
