FIELD: railways.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to system automation of electrified railways, and in particular to a method for controlling automatic reclosing of a contact network (CN) power line switch with control of a stable short circuit (SC) in a disconnected AC CN of a double-track section. In case of emergency shutdown of the switch, the effective value of the voltage in the disconnected contact network Udc is measured and the real part of Re(Udc) is calculated on the complex plane. At Re(Udc) ≤ of 200 V an AR prohibition is introduced, and at Re(Udc)> of 500 V AR is permitted. If the measured voltage is within 500 V ≥ Re(Udc) > 200 V, the AR is also prohibited, since in this case the damage is on the electric rolling stock, which is eliminated when its current collector is lowered.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the automatic reclosing (AR) of the circuit breaker during passing SCs.
