FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in systems for transmitting discrete information convolution coding along communication lines with scattering of energy of received signals (memory channels), subject to dying-out. The device has on the transmitting side of the coder, an interlacer, clock generator and a generator of the synchronisation pattern. On the receiving side there is a deinterlacer, decoder, clock generator, generator of the synchronisation pattern and an extra measuring unit and unit for evaluating the duration of error clusters based on the current state of the communication channel, the output of which is connected to the input of the unit for controlling the interlacing interval, generating the value of the permissible interlacing interval, coming from the output of the unit for controlling the interlacing interval to the control inputs of the interlacer and deinterlacer, changing the interlacing interval by increasing the capacity of the shift registers.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity when receiving signals with convolutional coding in channels with grouped errors.
