FIELD: chemistry; fuel.
SUBSTANCE: liquid initial solution contains from 15 to 60 wt % of 2,6-di-tret-butylhydroxy toluene, dissolved in the diesel bio-fuel. Stabilised diesel bio-fuel contains 0.005 to 2 wt % dissolved 2,6-di-tret-butylhydroxy toluene.
EFFECT: increase in oxidative stability, prevention of the formation of sediment during storage of the diesel bio-fuel.
