FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed a lubricant composition containing (i) a base oil and (ii) a compound having formula (1), where the functional groups R1, R2 and R3 each is independently selected from hydrogen and saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched C1-C22 alkyl groups. Invention also discloses the use of a compound having formula (1) and a method for improving the preservation of the base number of the lubricating oil composition. (1).
EFFECT: ensuring the reduction of the loss of oxidative stability, which can occur when the internal combustion engine is filled with biofuels, such as biodiesel.
