FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas and hydraulic actuators and can be used in high-precision ACS with digital control machines used as a power drive at, for example oil-and-gas mains, at thermal electric power stations, and in various production machinery drives. The proposed wave gas hydraulic engine comprises a rigid wheel and a flexible wheel interacting with the former, a wave generator with cylinders and radial channels communicating every cylinder with the central bore accommodating a hydraulic control device with working fluid feed and discharge spaces. The said device represents four symmetrically-truncated-section sectors and is furnished with a shaft with a piston fitted thereon to move axially and to rotate together about the said shaft in the wave generator casing central bore. Note here that the said piston cross-section area exceeds that of the aforesaid hydraulic control device cross-section area. The proposed invention aims at increasing reliability of the said wave gas dynamic engine by keeping up a constant gap between the hydraulic control device and the wave generator casing in using the various-temperature working medium or in operating at variable-temperature ambient conditions.
