FIELD: physics; testing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to stands for testing automatic and gas turbine engine control systems. The method involves simulation of the parameters of the engine, actuating mechanisms and sensors in real time. At given instants, control signals are generated in accordance with a schedule for a series of several failures. The method is implemented on a scaled-down stand for testing automatic and gas turbine engine control systems, which consists of an electronic control system, actuating mechanism simulator, amplifiers, main adder, main integrator, sensor simulator, power supply, and a distribution panel. The stand also contains a simulation trigger button, second integrator, failure trigger buttons, comparators, and potentiometers.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of complex testing of automatic and gas turbine engine control systems due to simulation of several sensor faults, actuating mechanisms and the engine in a predefined sequence.
