FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to measuring equipment and may be used for determination of instantaneous values of single-phase transformer magnetisation inductivity in working mode or in idle mode. In order to achieve this result at the known frequency of supplying grid and coefficients of transformation arrays of instantaneous values of voltages and currents of transformer windings are registered. Then these voltages and currents are reduced to the primary circuit. Then simultaneously instantaneous values of magnetisation voltage and current are determined, at that instantaneous values of magnetisation voltage are defined as mean average of instantaneous values of reduced voltages at transformer windings. Instantaneous values of magnetisation current are determined as difference of instantaneous values of input current and reduced output current. Then active value of magnetisation current is defined, as well as active resistance of magnetisation branch.
