SOLUTION CRYSTALLISATION APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC B01D9/02

Abstract RU 2341316 C2

FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: solution crystallisation apparatus comprises separator 1 with lifting pipe 2, circulation pump 3, drop 4 and pressure 5 pipes forming a circulation circuit. Apparatus has a vessel with tapered bottom 6 with three unions, i.e. union 7 designed for solution withdrawal, union 8 for solution feed and union 9 for withdrawal of clarified solution. Union 12 intended for withdrawal of finished suspension is arranged at the bottom of lantern 13 furnished with overflow branch pipe 23 arranged inside it and communicating with separator 1. Note that the upper edge of branch pipe 23 is arranged below the level of a mark of union 9 made on vessel 6 and is furnished with shut-ff device 25. Hydraulic cyclone 14 communicates with union 7 via branch 21. Feed branch of branch pipe 16 from pressure pipe 5 communicates with inlet union 15 of hydraulic cyclone 14 and accommodates shut-off valve 17. The upper edge of solution withdrawal union 8 is located at the axis of cylindrical part inside vessel 6 below the union mark. Release union 18 of hydraulic cyclone 14 communicates with drop pipe 4 via pipeline. Union 7 of withdrawing solution from vessel 6 into drop pipe 4 is arranged on the aforesaid tapered bottom.

EFFECT: increase in sizes of produced crystals, higher reliability.
