FIELD: heat-power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at nuclear and thermal power plants for feed water heating. Platen steam-water heater consists of a vertical casing with condensate cooling area. In the casing around the central header there installed lengthwise is a bank of tubular platens, which is made in the form of series-connected horizontal and vertical sections in the direction of heated water. Bank of platens is equipped with periphery external and internal housings located on the side of casing and header respectively, and has upper and lower walls. Upper wall is located in the bank cavity arranged in condensate cooling area and is connected with internal housing, and lower wall is installed under bank of platens with a clearance relative to the header and is connected with external housing. At that horizontal section of bank of platens located in condensate cooling area is equipped with at least two transverse partitions, one of which is installed on the housing side and is connected with upper wall and located with a clearance relative to lower wall, and the other one is located on the header side with a clearance relative to upper wall and connected with lower wall.
EFFECT: invention allows providing intensive heat exchange in condensate cooling area due to transverse high-velocity washing of tubes with condensate.
