SUBSTANCE: in a steam and water heater comprising a body with nozzles of steam inlet and its condensate outlet, a distributing water chamber with nozzles of inlet and outlet of heated water, a tubular system placed in the jacket with vertical partitions, direct or U-shaped pipes of the heat exchange surface, the heater is equipped with a baffling shield arranged at the inlet to a diffuser formed by a socket, which in its turn is fixed to the steam supply nozzle arranged coaxially to the hole for steam inlet. The central part of the baffling shield comprises guide louvres, and in the diffuser there are concentric funnels.

EFFECT: reduced erosion and corrosion wear of a body and a tube bundle.
