FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing polystyrene foam blocks includes filling of a hollowness of the form with preliminary made foam granules of polystyrene, form fastening, and formation of blocks by feed of the water vapour by a "thermal shock" method. Then cool the form using the method of "cold blow" with the subsequent cooling in natural conditions, open the form and take ready blocks at achievement 40-45°C temperature of the form. Thus fill the form after installation of demountable adaptations which are executed hollow in it, serve for vapour passage, and differentiate form volume on internal and external hollownesses. And fill an exterior hollowness of the form, and chilling spend through 3-5 minutes after stopping of vapour delivery to the form, with the cold water within 1-2 minutes.
EFFECT: production process simplification, decrease in expenses for manufacture of polystyrene foam blocks and their further application in building on method of fixed casing.
