FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to drilling tool, particularly to packing elements and can be implemented in drilling bits, reamers and calibrators. There is suggested the support of a roller cutter consisting of a support bracket with a lubricating unit, of a journal, of the roller cutter secured on the journal by means of a retaining bearing and of packing element installed between the roller cutter and the journal. The feature of the suggested support is the design of the packing element with cross section in form of half-circle oriented with its open part to the side of the journal end. A spring ring is inserted in the cavity of the packing element, the cross section of the ring has the form of open loop with exterior radius which in a free position is bigger, than the inside radius of cross section of the packing element; also the walls of the spring ring located along the axis of the journal are made with slots. The spring ring can be split, while the ends of the spring split ring are installed overlapping one against the other.

EFFECT: increased working capacity of support and rock destructing tool as a whole.
