FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering and may be used in fuel feeding systems of aviation engines. The pump unit contains composed body with inlet and outlet channels. Pinion gears of gear-type pump are mounted on supports inside the pump unit body. Driving gear is coupled with the driving torsion bar. The screw-type centrifugal pump impeller is also included into the pump unit. Pumped medium is collected in the sump, which is available at pump outlet. Gear-type pump outlet is connected with the outlet channel of the unit. The unit is provided with revolvable shaft with one end being fixed to driving gear of gear-type pump and the other end is coupled with the centrifugal pump impeller. In addition the impeller is installed in the unit inlet part and provided with the open-type vortex pump located between the screw-type centrifugal pump impeller and gear-type pump. The vortex pump is represented with vortex impeller and vortex channel fixed to the shaft and located in unit body boring. As minimum, vortex pump inlet is coupled with at least one radial channel with the pumped medium sump. Vortex channel is linked with the gear-type pump inlet. There is a pocket coupled with drain channel on the above radial channel periphery.
EFFECT: high pressure of the pumped medium is continuously maintained at the pump unit outlet and air and fuel fumes are removed from the pump liquid.
