FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering. Mixed-flow screw-type pump consists of a body and helical wheel with helical blades fixed to the shaft and hollow cone-shaped bushing. The helical wheel adjoins pump body at its largest diameter by means of a sealing. Together with pump body, it forms relieving chamber with by-pass channels. Relieving chamber sealing is made as groove and staggered. It adjoins pump body through the radial and end clearances at the external side with respect to flow section. The axial bearing is installed with the side clearance in the body around external ring. The axial bearing is installed so that side clearance value is less than side clearance of groove seal. So the rotor may travel under axial force in axial direction and control pressure in relieving chamber. Consequently it can also control axial force to rotor with negative feedback.
EFFECT: improvement of the mixed-flow screw-type pumps operation reliability and increase of the driving gear lifetime.
