FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: scroll of axially diagonal auger pump comprises spiral channel, diffuser and tongue. The latter is arranged at the point of flow turn from peripheral direction in spiral channel with increasing area of current design cross-sections in proportion or the angle of "covering". The latter is counted from section extending through said tongue in tangential direction to neck inlet and, further, to diffuser and to pump outlet. Spiral channel lateral side facing the axial component of absolute fluid flow rate has axially symmetric lateral tongue composed of conical surface with OD increasing in diagonal direction and smoothly conjugated with the tongue. Opposite lateral side of spiral channel is also tapered with ID increasing in diagonal direction. Both lateral sides are conjugated in circle arc to make current design cross-section of said spiral channel.

EFFECT: higher pump efficiency thanks to reduced hydraulic losses for swirling.
