FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining supplied raw material for steam cracking installation for obtaining light olefins includes passing flow of supplied raw material (12), containing hydrocarbons C5-C9, including normal paraffins C5-C9, into adsorption device (20), adsorption device (20) contains adsorbent and operates in mode of selective adsorption of normal paraffins, and obtaining raffinate flow (22), containing hydrocarbons C6-C9, which do not belong to normal hydrocarbons; passing desorbent flow (18) into adsorptive device (20), operating in mode of desorption of normal paraffins from adsorbent, and obtaining flow of extract (24), containing normal paraffins C6-C9 and paraffins C5; passing raffinate flow (22) into reactor of cycle interruption (50), where raffinate flow is brought in contact with catalyst in order to convert aromatic hydrocarbons into naphtenes and catalyst to convert naphtenes into paraffins in mode of cycle interruption with formation of technological flow after cycle interruption (52), which contains n-paraffins and isoparaffins; passing extract flow (24) into steam cracking installation (40); and passing of, at least, part of flow after cycle interruption (56) into steam cracking installation (40).

EFFECT: essential increase of light olefins formation.
