FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of aircraft push-pull control diagnostics for backlashes. Control is elastically fixed from its one end with excited harmonic oscillations close to its own. Accelerometers providing vibration overload measurements are established on rods and walking beams. Accelerometers measure vibration overload on rods along the axis thereof, and on walking beams along the tangent to mechanical trajectory. Signals of accelerometers are scanned, and Lissajous figures are plotted for each measurement point, the patterns of which indicates backlash within rod and walking beam junction.

EFFECT: reduction of time and higher diagnostic reliability of aircraft harness.
