FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: evaporator for gas chromatograph contains cylindrical case (1) with joining pipe (2) on one end for junction with chromatographic column and radiator (3) on the other end designed as coupling nut. The case (1) contains the insertion (4) with branch pipe (5) for carrier gas supply. Besides the case (1) accommodates coaxial glass tube (6) (evaporation chamber) with its end face adjoining internal surface of the insertion (4). Between end faces of radiator (3) and cavity in the insert (4) there is sealing rubber membrane (7) with multiple needle path (8) of microsyringes (10) in glass tube (6) using processing needle (9). Diameter of the membrane (7) exceeds that of the cavity in the insertion (4). Depth of the cavity is less or equal to thickness of the membrane (7).
EFFECT: several times increased efficiency of sealing membrane (leak tightness of the channel after multiple puncture with needle of microsyringe) compared to common designs due to radial deformation of material.
