FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: shoulder prosthesis contains sleeves of shoulder, forearm, artificial hand, and ulnar lock control set. The latter includes: segment gear, first double-arm lever with tooth interacting with segment gear. Besides, the prosthesis contains forward and back control rods. Hand control unit includes a roller interacting with hand through rigid rod. The prosthesis contains second double-arm lever one end of which is attached to forward rod to control ulnar fixation and release. The second end of second double-arm lever is pivotally connected with first double-arm lever through suspension arm. Back rod interacts with the roller of hand control unit, rigidy connected to segment gear.
EFFECT: higher level of exertion for finger opening control and higher finger grip strength.
