FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to iron and steel industry and can be implemented for charging of blast furnaces. The device contains successively assembled two-hopper funnel with an outlet aperture, and a hollow bar with a small cone forming with a cap a gas seal. Side and interior cross walls of the receiving funnel are made convex and inclined at the angle of 45-55° to horizontal. Prominence of the side and interior cross walls of the receiving funnel amounts to 1/3-1/5 of its height. The hollow bar of the smaller cone is made with an alternate boss-calibrator at the height of the outlet aperture of the receiving funnel. The ratio of the upper and lower diameters of the boss-calibrator is 0.7-0.85 and 0.5-0.6 correspondingly to the diameter of the outlet aperture of the receiving funnel.
EFFECT: simplification of design and increased uniformity of circumferential and radial distribution of charge.
