FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy and can be implemented at re-crystallisation annealing of cold-rolled strips out of low-carbon steel rolled in coils in single-stack muffle furnace with gas heating and hydrogen protecting atmosphere. To reduce duration of annealing and power costs with simultaneous upgraded quality of strips the strip coils are heated at a medium rate of 30-75°C/h to annealing temperature of 690-710°C, when this temperature has been achieved, the coils are cooled first at the speed of 2-5°C/h to 660-680°C, then at the speed of 10-30°C/h to 640-660°C, further from the temperature of 640-660°C coils are cooled at an arbitrary rate.
EFFECT: reduced duration of annealing and power costs with simultaneous upgraded quality of strips.
