FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves hot rolling of strips from low-carbon steel with regulated rolling and coiling end temperatures, cold rolling and recrystallisation annealing. Reduction of variations in thickness, out-of-flatness and non-uniformity of hardness throughout strip length is provided due to the fact that after annealing is finished, second cold rolling is performed till the specified tin thickness; hot rolling is performed at rolling end temperature of 860-890°C and coiling end temperature of 670-690°C till the strip thickness determined by a mathematical relationship is obtained.
EFFECT: improving yield ratio at production of tin 0.05-0.16 mm thick from low-carbon steel in a cold-worked state of the specified HR30T hardness category.
