SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of water supply. Provides increase of method efficiency. According to method, in order to restore productivity of artesian wells for water or similar technological wells by means of electric effect at water-bearing horizon via these production wells, data are collected, which are related to mudding, sanding and silting of wells, statistic level of water, rock of water-bearing horizon and specific electric resistance of well bottom zone rock in water-bearing horizon. For stimulation well is selected, which satisfies the following combination of data: availability of mudding in well bottom zone, statistic water level above water-bearing horizon roof, sanding or silting not higher than water-bearing horizon foot. At the stage of stimulation, amplitude of pulse current and its time derivative are monitored. Mode of electric processing is established with certain duration of pulses and certain voltage. At that duration of pulses is set depending on rock of water-bearing horizon, and voltage - depending on specific electric resistance of well bottom zone rock in water-bearing horizon. Stimulation is stopped, when time derivative of pulse current amplitude achieves zero value.
EFFECT: increase of method efficiency.
