BROADBAND FOURIER HYPERSPECTROMETER Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01J3/45

Abstract RU 2344383 C2

FIELD: physics; optics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used for measurement in optical spectrometry. The broadband Fourier hyperspectrometer consists of a spectral unit, which is in form of a Fourier spectrometer, comprising optically connected, source of input radiation, interferometric unit, containing two plane mirrors and a beam splitter between them, a first off-axis ellipsoidal mirror at the input of the beam splitter and a second off-axis paraboloidal mirror at the output of the beam splitter, and a position sensitive photodetector. In front of the spectral unit, an objective is fitted, which is in form of mirror optical system without screening and beam path closer to telocentric. Inside this spectral unit, there are serially-fitted, a first paraboloidal off-axial mirror, common for the end-to-end optical channel, a first dichroic element and a set of spectral modules with photodetectors. All modules are fitted after the first dichroic element with a reflecting coating for shorter sub-bands. In each module, anamorphised elements are fitted at the inputs of each of the interferometric units. After the second off-axis paraboloidal mirrors, second dichroic elements can be fitted. All paraboloidal mirrors are in form of off-axis segments of the same mirror. The set of spectral modules can vary and all optical elements can be made from material with high radiation resistance to the effect of cosmic radiation.

EFFECT: provision for operation in a wide spectral range at the same time in several spectral channels.
