FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: production area sound-proof structure contains a shop skeleton, window openings and doorways, apertures for accommodation of lighting fixtures and sound-absorber elements. Acoustic screens represent smooth and perforated walls with sound absorbing elements arranged there between fitted in two layers. Note that the first layer, more rigid one, is made up of consecutively jointed 2nd-order surfaces, for example spherical or toroidal, and from the material with the sound reflection factor exceeding that of sound absorption. Mind that the first layer has cavities formed by prismatic surfaces, e.g. polygonal prism with the face arranged with a gap relative to the rod being furnished with resonance apertures. Note also that the second layer, a softer and discontinuous one, consists of the bodies of rotation located in focus of the first layer sound reflecting surfaces and representing, for example balls, ellipsoids of rotation. The said second layer is attached with the help of the rod arranged parallel to the perforated wall and rigidly linked up with the smooth wall via vertical links.
EFFECT: increased sound absorption efficiency.
