FIELD: household goods and personal effects.
SUBSTANCE: plate brush is shaped of multiple individual monofilament strands attached to the hub. The plate brush is a manufactured through a shaping process consisting in formation of the brush blank of bristle monofilaments associated with the help of a molding compound. Thus prepared, the brush blank is placed between the half mold section. Bringing the mutually aligned half mold sections into contact under pressure applied to them results in shaping the molding compound into a hub. With the mutually aligned half mold section brought into contact under pressure applied to them the brush blank is cut into individual bristle strands. One has designed a brush core plate brush and envisaged the plate brush usage as component of street sweeper equipment.
EFFECT: simplification of both the plate brush structure and its manufacturing process.
