FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: syringe with piston is filled with medicine leaving at least 0.2 ml of air. Needle is injected at upper position (closer to the piston) of air bubble in the syringe. Precision of needle movement towards relevant artery area is controlled by ultrasonic examination till pulse blood reflux into the syringe. Blood reflux into the syringe is monitored during the whole injection. Medicine is injected by recurring piston pressure, air bubble remaining in the syringe.
EFFECT: enhanced control of needle movement and needle point location control in a vessel during procedure.
