FIELD: heating; mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: stand-alone thermal starter includes dual-action firing mechanism enclosed into the housing and spring-loaded rod with clip and actuator represented with thermal chemical source of current. Cylindrical bushing with two diametrically opposite slots arranged along generatrix is situated on the free end of the housing. The clip is represented with two levers being symmetrical regarding the longitudinal axis of the housing. Each lever is fixed in bushing slot as hinge connection by one of the ends. The opposite end sections of the levers are implemented so that they can be connected with each other by bracing element represented with discontinuous ring, which is made of material with thermo mechanical shape memory. The cylindrical surface of spring-loaded rod is grooved. At the same time projections are available on the each lever surfaces directing to spring-loaded rod and contacting with groove. There is a projection in the middle part of the lever and corresponding groove is available on the cylindrical part of the spring-loaded rod.
