FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: plaster wallboard contains a plaster core that has two facing surfaces (the first one and the second one). In addition to that the wallboard contains a glued-on layer of coated non-woven lining glass-fibre material intended for Level 4 finishing treatment that covers at least one of the two facing surfaces (the first one and/or the second one). The non-woven lining glass-fibre material consists mainly of glass fibres which diameter and length vary within the range of 8-11 mcm and 1/4 - 3/4 accordingly; the glass fibres forming the non-woven lining glass-fibre material are bonded together with the help of acryl-based adhesive compound. The non-woven lining glass-fibre material has a coating containing an exsiccated water mixture of: (i) mineral pigment, (ii) polymeric adhesive compound and, whenever required, (iii) non-organic adhesive compound applied onto the uncoated surface of the non-woven lining glass-fibre material above-mentioned.
EFFECT: enhanced smoothness of the wallboard surface enabling minimisation of preparation activities when carrying out finishing treatment.
