SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction materials and a gypsum wall board with high content of hydroxyethylated starch and a dispersant. The gypsum board contains a hardening gypsum aggregate which is placed between two cover sheets formed from a suspension which contains water, gypsum plaster, hydroxyethylated starch, gelated starch, the hydroxyethylated starch being present in an amount ranging from 0.5 to about 10 wt % with respect to the mass of gypsum plaster and the gelated starch is present in an amount ranging from 0.5 to about 10 wt %. The suspension can further contain a naphthalene-sulphonate dispersant and sodium trimetaphosphate, or consists of water, gypsum plaster and hydroxyethylated starch.

EFFECT: invention increases fluidity of the gypsum-containing suspension, while maintaining improved strength of the hardened panel.
