SUBSTANCE: invention concerns technics of communication and can be applied to measuring and the control of parametres of data links, and also at the solution of problems of prompt initialisation of echo-jacks of high-speed duplex modems. In the offered invention the harmonious test signal is used, the original expedient of elimination of stirring influence of signal of short-range echo and accordingly, eductions of an explored signal of long-range echo that allows to apply to the task in view solution methods of measuring of a frequency drift of the harmonious signal concretised in the invention from rating value against the noise which is present at a path of passage of a signal, with use of numeral system of phase sync of the first order thus is offered.

EFFECT: increase of accuracy of estimate of frequency drift bearing signal in dilated dynamic gamut and simplification of measuring procedures.
