SUBSTANCE: invention refers to wireless communication and specifically to wireless broadband access systems. Method of diversity radio signal reception with wireless broadband access device includes the stages as follows: transmission receiving simultaneously with all radio links, demodulating and decoding of signals received with radio links, received signal statistic accumulation for each signal received from radio links, and selection of radio links depending on received signal statistics or depending on operator's configuration.
EFFECT: higher network coverage, reduced power of transmission paths of data communicating devices, lower setting quality requirements of customer premises equipment, reduced power consumption and heat release of wireless broadband access system.
