FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: spring-loaded tuberous root cleaner comprises a shaft with a spiral which is wound around it with a gap between it and the shaft. A support liner is rigidly fixed in the middle part of the shaft, and the spiral is fixed on the shaft ends. Spirals on the adjacent shafts are fitted with counter winding and are made as a shaped spring with its horizontal projection having form of a circle and vertical projection - that of an arc. The arc height is h=0.2-0.5D where D stands for the diameter of the horizontal spring projection, and a scanning of one spiral turn is a sine wave.
EFFECT: increasing the cleaner efficiency.
