FIELD: food products.
SUBSTANCE: hardened sausage casing comprises tubular base 1 and tubular cellular casing 2 covering the outside surface of tubular base 1. Cellular casing 2 is attached to tubular base 1 using polyvinyl-acetate adhesive. The tubular base represents animal casings, cellulose, polyamide, collagen or Belcozine or Fabios casing. For adhesion, it is recommended to use polyvinylacetate water dispersion, in particular water dispersion of 25-70% spirit of polyvinylacetate with 35-60% polymer content. In some applications cellular casing 2 can comprise separate or interlaced threads 3. In some applications threads 3 forming the cells of cellular casing 2 are made of cotton or flax or polyamide or polyester or cellulose. Tubular base 1 preferably should be Dc 3-15 cm in diameter. Diameter Do of tubular casing 1 should preferably be not greater than diameter Dc of the cellular casing. In some applications cellular casing 2 can comprise cells with centre-to-centre spacing a between adjacent cells is within 0.5÷5 cm. Threads 3 forming the cells of cellular casing 2 should be preferably covered with polyvinyl-acetate adhesive. In some applications cellular casing 2 can comprise circular, or oval, or square, or diamond-shaped, or polygonal cells. In some applications hardened sausage casing can be made in the form of a piece, one side of which is clamped by clamp 4 or tied. In some applications the hardened sausage casing can be made in the form of core-wrapped hose. In other applications the hardened sausage casing can be made in the form of corrugated hose.
EFFECT: casing is inexpensive to manufacture and features high quality.
