FIELD: household objects and personal effects.

SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner comprises nozzle that has base inverted to cleaned surface, intermediate connection element joined with the possibility of disconnection to lower part of base on upper surface of intermediate connection element and supporting cleaning element, which is connected with the possibility of disconnection to lower surface of intermediate connection element. The first connector of vacuum cleaner connects intermediate connection element with the possibility of disconnection to lower part of base, on which steam generator is installed for steam generation. Splitting connection device projects from peripheral part of intermediate connection element for break of connection between intermediate connection element and base. Vacuum cleaner body comprises electric motor unit with fan for air suction. Dust-collecting device is connected to body with the possibility of disconnection arranged with the possibility of rubbish separation from sucked air and collection of separated rubbish. According to method of vacuum cleaner control, cleaning element intended for cleaning of contaminated surface is connected to intermediate connection element, nozzle inverted to contaminated surface is installed, intermediate connection element is connected to lower part of nozzle, contaminated surface is cleaned by steam sprayed into cleaning element, and on completion of steam cleaning operation intermediate connection element is disconnected from nozzle.

EFFECT: simpler use of vacuum cleaner due to provision of easy installation of cleaning element in correct position during cleaning of surface with application of steam and easy disconnection of cleaning element on its completion.
