SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a steam generator. The vacuum cleaner consists of a case, a steam generator, a cleaning element, a dust collecting unit, a heating unit and a discharge pipe. At that the steam generator contains an outer case, a unit to supply water into an interior space, a heating device, a thermostat, a discharge pipe connected to environment and a device to control steam discharge, which opens/closes the discharge pipe depending on presence or absence of steam. Additionally the steam generator contains a pressure sensor and a switch controlling steam discharge in accordance with pressure sensor readings. The vacuum cleaner is designed to work independently from operation of the steam generator.

EFFECT: improvement of a steam generator design; upgraded floor cleaning.
