FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: turret is made up of a base and cutter holder coupled by a toothed joint, the latter being arranged to revolve and to move vertically and axially. The turret incorporates also a cup coupled with the cutter holder to revolve about a fixed axis, a fixed case accommodating the drive with its shaft supporting an intermediate gear pair, a mechanism of cutter holder turning and vertical axial moving, a motionless flange with the sequencer switches interacting with a magnet, and the mechanism of periodic latching of cutter holder. The fixed case is installed above the cutter holder, while the drive is located on its outer side. Note that the drive axis is located perpendicular to the head fixed axis. The mechanism of cutter holder turning and vertical axial moving represents a worm gear with its wheel fitted on the sleeve rigidly fixed on a glass, furnished at least with two bayonet grooves arranged in symmetry and interacting with appropriate fingers rigidly fixed in the cutter holder. The mechanism of periodic latching the cutter holder represents a clamp interacting with lock plates attached to the cutter holder, the number of the said plates complying with the number of adjustable sequencer switches.
