FIELD: machine tool building. SUBSTANCE: turret head, having a body with a toothed semicoupling, a cutter holder with a toothed semicoupling, kinematically connected with the aid of a gear transmission with return drive unit, and a mechanism for clamping the cutter holder, being in the form of a shaft rod, rigidly joined with the body, a sleeve, supporting the toothed semicoupling and a flange, mounted on the shaft-rod with possibility of axial motion. The toothed semicoupling of the sleeve engages with the semicouplings of the body and of the cutter holder, and it is restricted from rotation by a pin, mounted on the shaft-rod. The turret head is provided by axial rolling-type bearing units and flexible members, mounted on these bearing units and engaging with the cutter holder. The shaft rod supports a disc for engaging with the cutter holder. EFFECT: enhanced structure. 3 cl, 2 dwg
