FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vibration protective equipment and can be used in any pertinent art. Vibration isolator comprises a toroidal elastic element from steel wire rope and backing plates. The plates are made as two pairs of outer and inner pressing elements with the limiters of shift, tension and compression of the vibration isolator in case load is more than allowed. The limiters are made as an integral unit with the inner pressing elements in the form of annular disk-shaped stop dogs. Fastening bolt of one outer plate is made as a stud with a check nut; the bolt end face forms a gap in respect to the end face of the second outer plate fastening bolt. The gap is relevant to the allowable compressive deformation value. An additional elastic element is placed between the inner pressing annular disc-shaped stop dogs and is made as a rubber or rubber-cord vessel filled with gas or high-elastic material.
EFFECT: increase of power intensity and efficiency of vibration isolation in vertical and horizontal coordinate axes within the whole frequency range (low-medium-high).
