FIELD: household goods and personal effects.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism for slow closing of water-closet seat cover consists of a hinge support, which secures the mechanism to water-closet seat and cover. The hinge support consists of base, stud, journal and damper sleeve, which is extension of the said stud, and damper inserted into opening of the journal and damper sleeve. Damper consists of a round shaft with flat both ends, round damper body, which tightly fits into the journal rectangular slot. Journal is directly secured to seat and cover, inserted into the journal and damper sleeve, and one of journal ends is connected to the damper. Hinge body is connected to damper, journal and water-closet seat or cover. To prevent rotation, shoulders located on the journal outer surface are inserted into slots of the sleeve inner surface. Assembly method for the said mechanism is the second subject of the patent.
EFFECT: reduced cost of the design.
