FIELD: medicine; traumatology and orthopaedics.
SUBSTANCE: treatment of proximal humerus fractures is ensured by drilling drill two holes within greater tubercle of humeri, distanced 10-15 mm. Two-branch double-loop wire is inserted within greater tubercle of humeri. Bone fragments are matched, while two-branch wire is inserted into the bone through mild tapotement. Fixture holes are drilled within greater tubercle of humeri and distanced 25-27 mm that is equal to distance between fixture metal hooks. Fixture hooks are inserted into drilled holes through wire loops for the proximal humerus, made as metal Y-shaped stick with hooked extended ends in junction of which Y-shaped stick jumps to threaded rod. Then fixture is inserted for distal humerus, made as metal hook with extended end, the other end of which represents threaded rod. Axial traction of the limbs follows. Threaded sections of fixtures of proximal and distal parts are single-stage provided with female threaded sleeve, while fixtures of two parts are pulled together until bone fragments compression. It is followed with sleeve locking with retaining nuts from two ends. Holes for all metal fixture hooks are drilled at the angle 70-75°. The device includes female threaded tension sleeve, fixture for proximal part made as Y-shaped stick at the angle 85-90° with hooked extended semi-cylindrical ends in junction of which Y-shaped stick jumps to threaded cylindrical rod. Fixture for distal part made as hook with extended semi-cylindrical end the other end of which is made as threaded cylindrical rod. Threaded rods are of the same diameter with threaded parts and fixing key platform at its end of the same length. All fixture hooks are bent at the angle 70-75°. Flat part of all hooks reaches hook bends and is longitudinally grooved on its surface. Threaded cylindrical rods are provided with cylindrical retainer nuts have on their ends with key holes and connected by female threaded tension sleeve. Sleeve has number of holes to be tightened.
EFFECT: uniform distribution of compressing effect on fracture planes, simultaneous axial and longitudinal fixation within fracture of humerus neck, strengthened fixing rigidity.
