FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for proximal humerus osteosynthesis by peri-implant distraction and fixation. Method consists in performing osteosynthesis of a proximal humeral fracture with a plate with blocked holes through a transdeltoid approach. For reposition of bone fragments of head and surgical neck of humerus, two K-wires are applied crosswise so that the cross point is oriented along the centre of humerus diaphysis. Two wires are crossed distally from the fracture within an intact humeral diaphysis so that the centre of their intersection passes along the axis of the intramedullary canal of the bone. Peripheral ends of the K-wires are bent in the form of a hook by means of a rubber tube placed around four K-wires in the area of the hooks. Wires are stretched so that the fracture is wedged in the vertical axis, and the interfragment compression is retained in the specified position.

EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of proximal humerus osteosynthesis, intensified interfragment compression and reduced risks of varus displacement of the head of humerus due to carrying out strained wires, which enables to perform interfragment approximation of fragments, thereby simplifying reposition.
