SUBSTANCE: invention concerns constructional engineering, in particular to built in facilities for aquatic birds - penguinariums. The penguinarium includes a tank for aquatic, coastal and air habitats of aquatic birds. The penguinarium includes visitors' areas. The penguinarium is mostly or completely incorporated in a building. The building comprises vertical and/or inclined and horizontal structures. The tank shell has a head and walls, including a partially translucent wall with stiffness and bearing capacity stepwisely varying throughout the height. The walls form cubic configuration of the tank shell and are partially structurally combined with the building structures. The tank shell walls, building floor or foundation are tightly joined with the tank head and form a water-filled bath. At least one tank shell wall has at least one curvilinear or broken area.

EFFECT: reduced materials consumption and working hours and increased space stiffness of the structure.
